Our team (and still growing)

Our team consists of highly qualified and caring professionals, who put our client's needs at the forefront of everything we do. With many years of experience in the industry, they have the expertise to provide comprehensive, first-rate services to our clients.  While not all team members are below, we provide each client with an overview of each Senior Concierge at initial consultation.

Founder/Owner

Kim Robertson

I founded Continue to Bloom after seeing friends in my community struggle to support their family members in their later blooms of life.  Time and again I heard stories of families that just needed a helping hand but there continued to be a gap in services between traditional health care and in home support. Continue to Bloom is here to help fill those gaps and provide quality support and services to our senior neighbors and their families.

Even as a young woman, I loved spending time with the older men and women in my neighborhood and at church. This has continued throughout my life with people many years my senior being some of my best friends.  I loved quilting and working on service projects with them at church and they helped me grow in my faith through service to others.

Today, whether sharing a homecooked meal or a bouquet from my garden with a shut-in or just spending time together, my senior friends bring me much joy.  It is only natural then that serving seniors in our community brings great purpose and satisfaction to my life as I strive to make life a little easier for them. Together, we will continue to bloom!

Kelly H.

I have been a Registered Nurse since 2005 and I currently work as an RN Care Manager when not with Continue to Bloom. I have a passion for Geriatrics.  Away from work, I enjoy spending time with family watching movies, traveling, and cooking.  I am very active in my church and enjoy singing and working with our youth ministry. I'm also a participant in the ministry of outreach which involves volunteering at places such as soup kitchens and nursing homes.  I'm reminded of scripture in Isaiah 58:10 that says: "If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday."

When I was in college, my great-great uncle moved into a nursing home at the age of 99.  Working nights at a factory, I'd visit him for an hour or two after every shift, cherishing our time together and his stories.  Post-college, I explored various artsy roles before embracing life as a stay-at-home mom, deeply enjoying every moment with my children. The most rewarding work role was caring for a friend with ALS, which, after her move, allowed me more time at home.  I've focused on nurturing my family, preparing healthy meals, and being present for them. Recently, I joined a community group, aiming to support others in need.  In my leisure, I relish family time, bike rides, gluten-free cooking and baking, gardening, participating in a book club, and volunteering.
